It was my birthday last week and our local beauty shop (something like Boots, but without pharmacy) has new bonus system, which allows you to collect bonus points all year (from Bday to Bday) and then pay with them for the half of your purchase, so it works almost as 50% discount) And as I feel lack of beauty products all the time and had a lot of bonus points on my card, I went there and bought some new things, that I really wanted.
First of all I went to MAC, where I got:
Studio Fix Fluid in NC25– I used to have persuasion that this foundation will break my skin out horribly and that is why I never used it on my self, when I used to work at the MAC counter. Even when I worked with it on other people, I always said that it can cause blemishes, no matter how nice it looks on the skin. I got my self some colours for work and couple weeks ago tryed NW25 on my face and was very impressed. It covered EVERYTHING, especially enlarged pores, which I hate so much, and not every foundation can do that. I use it on top of my MAC Skin Base and it stays matte for 4-5 hours, quite good result for my combination skin. But colour was too pink and too dark for me, so I finally got right one)) I love just as much as my Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation, but I have to mention that Double Wear is more matte and save the effect for 6-7 hours on my face!
Mineralize Concealer in NW20– my friend from MAC said that it’s very good in quality and colour so I decided to give it a go, especially because my Select Moisturecover Concealer was on it’s last leg. Surprisingly this one (new at MAC) is so good! It’s sits on the skin a lot better, no creasing or moving. This one is also not so greasy, which is perfect for me, but can be not so good for people with dry patches under the eyes.
212 and 217 brushes– I already have some 217’s, but I always want more, because they are unique and will be with you for years and years)) I love love love 212 brush. Some people might say that this brush is uncomfortable and useless, but I love to use it instead angle brush to define a lash line with eyeshadows, it makes the whole process faster and line sharper.
Apart from MAC I got:
Yves Saint Laurent Opium Vapeurs de Parfum – fresh and floral perfume, I started to love those for autumn/winter season), it also stays on the skin for a whole day.
Won’t Chip Top Coat By Orly– I thought it’s going to be a lot better, but the only thing it does- makes nail varnish go off nails in one move.
Maybelline Colour Tattoo in №35 – nice neutral taupe colour, stays for 3-4 hours on me with no creasing, nice but not perfect.
Essie It’s Genius and Dive Bar – love both of them, they are so intense and shining.
So my shopping was over and my happy face is proving the fact that it was successful!
