About two or three weeks ago, I purchased the China Glaze Crackle Glaze in Cracked Concrete, which is the exact same thing as the OPI Black Shatter nail polish that was introduced in the Katy Perry Collection, except it’s a charcoal gray color.
The China Glaze Crackle Glaze collection had a black, a white, this gray, a hot pink with shimmer, a mint blue, and a purple shimmer. All of which were crackle polishes. I only purchased this specific one because I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it, but I can honestly say I do.
Crackle Glaze in Cracked Concrete- A medium, charcoal grey that crackles or shatters as pictured above over any nail polish. It dries quickly and crackles very nicely. In the picture above I paired it with Maybelline Limited Edition Nail Polish in Pink Sophistication which is no longer available. It’s nothing too unique, just a medium-bright pink creme nail polish.
Overall, I must say that I really like this crackle polish, and I kind of wish I would have gotten some of the other colors. It’s been a few weeks since I purchased the Crackle Glaze so I’m not sure if it’s still available. I went to Sally’s a few days ago, to purchase an Orly nail polish and the Crackle Glaze display was no longer there. Although, I will say that I’m sure you can find it being sold on different websites, if you’d like to try it.
Also, I wanted to include that OPI is supposed to be coming out with a few more shatter nail polishes within the next few months, so look out for those, if you’re interested.
Have you tried shatter or crackle polishes? What do you think; do you love them or leave them? 🙂
