Anyone who has ever read my blog should know how obsessed I am when it comes to having perfect eyebrows (and are probably sick of me banging on about it) but I just can’t stress enough how major the impact they have on your overall appearance is.
It is so easy these days to keep on top of your brows too with waxing and tinting, threading and the new HD Brows, but if like me you don’t always have the time and money to visit a salon it’s also super easy to keep on top of them yourself. And although professionally done brows look fab I’m still never fully satisfied with the final outcome; they’re not quite dark enough or I’ve been given a scouse brow (no offence to anyone who likes this look) , they’ve made them too thin or they look too bushy.. yes I really am that picky. This is where Eylure Dylash 45 Day Mascara kit comes in! But before you become your very own eyebrow wizard I would always recommend having an initial shape done by a professional to give a reference point for your shape (unless of course you’re super confident you can do it yourself).
I decided to buy both the dark brown and the black shades so I could mix my own personal colour. I’m sure the dark brown alone would have made a big difference to my non existence brows but I find brown tints fade faster and although I’m naturally blonde I like going quite dark with the brows. Before using the kit I was a little bit dubious as to what the outcome would be but I was super impressed with the colour of my brows and I can’t believe I never knew this little beauty existed until last week. There’ll be no more last minute panicking about getting an appointment before an event or having to spends hours in front of the mirror drawing them on every day and for only £7.29 it isn’t going to break the bank!! The instructions were really easy to read and follow, even a beauty newbie would be able to follow them without messing up. So overall I think it’s safe to say that I would HIGHLY recommend Eylure Dylash 45 Day Mascara kit !!

How to dye your eyebrows
♥ If you have never used this product before it’s important to carry out a sensitivity test 48 hours before, I know this is boring and I’m sure like me you just want to get stuck straight in but it really is a must.. best to be safe than sorry right?! For the test mix 1cm of the dye with 3 drops of the solution and put a small dot behind your ear. If you don’t have a reaction over the next two days you’re good to go ♥
♥ Remove all makeup from around your brow and make sure the hairs are fully clean ♥
♥ The instructions say to mix 2cm of the dye with 5 drops of solution but as I mixed the two dyes I used 1cm of each ♥
♥ Use the application tool to mix the two together until you get a creamy paste (I’m not going to lie I didn’t really know what I was looking for when mixing them and it took quite a while for it to appear like a cream but you’ll be able to tell when it’s ready) ♥
♥ Use a cotton bud and the Vaseline to outline the your brows to stop any excess dye going onto your skin.. it’s really important you don’t get it on any of the hairs as the dye won’t stick ♥
♥ Now apply to the brows using either the applicator or a cotton bud. Really load the dye on and cover all excess hair growth as it will make it easier to shape later on ♥
♥ Leave on for around 1-2 minutes I’d recommend leaving it on for less time rather than more as you can always go back in for seconds but if it turns out too dark I’m afraid you’ll be stuck with it ♥
♥ Use the damp cotton pads to remove the dye and voila you have nice shiny new dyed eyebrows ♥
Below is a picture of my brows before (believe it or not but these do actually still have some tint left on them from my last salon visit, they’re usually even lighter), during and after using the kit and as you can see they’re is a massive difference.
