How to Fix a Broken Lipstick
|While trawling the internet trying to fix my lipstick, I keep seeing and being told that I should light a match or use a lighter to melt the lipstick inside the tube and then stick it back together again. But what I should have done was just smoosh it into a pot and be done with it. Here was my fixing disaster:
As you can see, everything I need lined up neatly and the broken part set to one side.

I start to heat the lipstick in the tube, then this happens…

The plastic melted too! argh! and for dramatic effect, I tried to put the lipstick back in… and it squidged out the sides… and then broke off again.

Nasty right?
So I then listened to you lovely bloggers that told me to put it in a pot, so I did just that!

I put it in a small sample jar, I think this one is 5ml and cut it in two…

Then heated it with a HAIR DRYER!! Which is what I should have done in the first place…

Now it looks a bit messy in the pot, but what do you expect… I can still use it though which is all I wanted. But you learn by your mistakes and dont play with fire!
Crisis averted and my love is still usable 🙂
