Winter creates so many problems, my skin, hair, hands and especially under my eyes dries out to epic proportions. I decided not too long ago to sort all of this out, buy more moisturising products that are going to retain more moisture. With make up this can be tricky at times as some products will cling like mad to dry patches and this can make your overall look, look horrendous.
My first step was to purchase this concealer as it will bring more moisture to my eye area rather than drying it out and looking cakey *Im talking to you Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer!!* So I present the MAC Select Moisturecover Concealer in the colour NW15 and NW20.
It comes with a wand tip applicator, my favourite kind! I find that I can control how much I apply a bit more rather than getting a tube and always squeezing out too much. It also has an amazing consistency, not too thin and thick enough to cover my dark circles. I always use the “Triangle” method when concealing dark circles and it hasn’t broken out my cheek area.
It does however have quite a dewy look, but it dries fairly quickly and I find that I don’t necessarily need to set it with a powder. Perfect for when I am in a rush. I can use my fingers, a concealer brush… whatever, and this will still look flawless as it blends so well!
Overall this is a very good concealer, one that will last me a long time and one that I would definitely repurchase time and time again. Thumbs up MAC!!
If you are wondering about the triangle method for concealing dark circles, this video explains it so well and it really does work for any excess baggage 😉 It is Kandee Johnson though… I used to love her but now she just really grinds my gears.
