Earlier tonight, I saw my good friend Huda posted her Favorite Hair Care Products over on her blog, so I decided to copy her lol, and show you girls what I use regularly on my hair.
Now for starters, I don’t have a ton of money to splurge on higher quality salon products, so if you’re a salon products only type of girl, then you probably won’t be interested in this one lol, sorry. As far as my hair type (without products), it’s wavy, somewhat dry, pretty frizzy, it’s neither thick nor fine and I have a pretty decent amount (Not too much, not too little). I’ve found inexpensive products that work great on my hair, and have kept it looking silky, healthy, and less frizzy. So let’s begin…
In the shower I only use two things,
1. Shampoo- Herbal Essences Hydralicious Reconditioning Shampoo
which I know is not the best, but it’s inexpensive and it doesn’t leave my hair feeling rough at all, so I love it for now. Drugstores $2-4
2. Deep Conditioner- Aussie 3 Minute Miracle-
This stuff is amazing! It leaves my hair feeling silky smooth and I see a reduction in frizz when I use it. It makes my hair smell like coconuts too, which I love, lol, but if you don’t like the smell of coconuts, you might wanna pass on this one. It also makes my hair look really healthy. I love this. 🙂 Drugstores $2-4
After the shower,
Step 1- Apply my Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Leave In Conditioner
This stuff helps calm down most of my frizz and helps define my waves a little. It smells really fruity like most of the Garnier Fructis products. I use like a quarter size amount, and I just apply it on the bottom half of my hair, at the end I’ll just rub what ever is left on my hands (which is virtually nothing) on the upper part of my hair. Drugstores $3-4
Step 2- I apply my One n Only Argan Oil Treatment (serum)
This stuff makes my hair look super silky, I love it. I only use about a dime size or less. This is one of those products where a little goes a long way. If you apply too much, your hair will most definitely look kind of greasy. Sally’s Beauty Supply $8-10
Step 3- If I’m gonna use heat on my hair, I apply Got2b Guardian Angel Heat Protectant
This stuff smells so good and it really makes your hair look healthy and shiny after you blow dry it, straighten it, or curl it. It works amazing. I love it. I only use this when I’m going to be applying heat though. Which I’ve been significantly cutting back on. Select drugstores $4-6
And just in case you were wondering what my hair naturally looks like…
It’s pretty wavy. I use to hate my hair, but as of recently, I’ve learned to love it. Thanks to these products. 🙂
Hope you found this somewhat helpful.
