This is a review for Rimmel London Stay Matte foundation in True ivory 103. It says ” + skinpure complex clarifying matte foundation, oil free and non gras:. Shine control formula for 12 hours matte coverage, non-comedogenic, non-acnegenic, frangrance free and paraben free. It contains 1 fl oz or 30 ml in the plastic tube.
Since this is not my foundation color, I have never used it on my face so far. But I tried it on my hand and have used this for my friend’s photo project. I will show the model wearing this foundation in the end of this post.
So far, this is a nice foundation. It is really matte, medium coverage and look good in photography. It has typical liquid foundation smell, and the texture is not thick nor thin. Easy to blend and stay on skin smoothly. It has pink tone in foundation even it says true ivory. Light weight feeling and it looks natural matte on the skin. I set with oil free transparent loose powder after applying this foundation on my friend’s skin. When I tried it on my hand, I just don’t like the foundation smell, apart from that, I like this foundation. I am not sure it lasts 12 hours matte though. My model removed the makeup after 3-4 hrs, after the photoshoot and I have never tried it on my face, so I have no idea about 12 hrs matte coverage. But it can be if you can touch up often in the day.
Hope my review helps a bit. 🙂
