So its the time of year that i want to show a bit of flesh but don’t want to blind anyone with my bright white skin! I have tried alot of self tanners in my time and find that I get on best with the mousse/foam variety.
Solait Tinted Bronzing Foam :
I picked this one up in Superdrug last week and to be honest didnt know if it would be that good or give a lot of colour. I always go for the darker shade as I’m quite pale and looking for a good bit of colour. I normally use St Tropez mousse and actually had it in my hand until I decided to give this one a go instead.
I applied Solait Tinted Bronzing Foam at night time, with a tanning mit which I would definitely recommend and helps to blend the mousse and prevent streaks. It has a guide colour so that you can see where you have applied, this is quite dark which I like. It also absorbed well and was not too sticky. I let it develop over night and the next day I had a shower and was really pleased with the tan, it looked very natural and not at all orange. I only had to apply it once to get the colour i was looking for which was great as normally I need at least two or three.
Another benefit is the price at only £3.99 compared to £18 for the St Tropez! I would actually recomend this over St Tropez for its colour and how easy it is to apply. So if you are looking for a good self tan then get yourself to Superdrug!
Now all we need is some sun 🙂
