The Face Shop Face It Primer Velvet Skin Review

Hi guys!
I am here with a review from The Face Shop again, and this time this product is very special, since it’s my first primer review and it was featured in a show called Get It Beauty, so I was very excited to try it out! Keep reading if you want to know what I think about this product!
The Face Shop Face It Primer Velvet Skin
A gel type primer that make skin bumps silky smooth. Creates velvet skin that maintains its freshness all day without any shine!
Uneven skin surface is covered to enable the skin texture to appear smooth and clean, while sebum control powder controls excessive sebum inside pores to prevent sheen and enables make-up to remain supple for an extended period. Non-sticky, oil free formula makes each use velvety-light and refreshing.

The Face Shop Face It Primer Velvet Skin-ingredients
This primer comes in a light beige bottle with pump and it carries 30g of product and trust me, a little goes a long way, since you do not need too much at once. The bottle itself is very sturdy and small, so it’s very travel friendly!

It does not smells bad, but not good either. I’m fine with it though, it’s just a normal scent. As for the texture, when you pump it out of the bottle, it feels like a gel type, but once you blend it out, it feels very like a really light milky essence. It’s normal as other primers, nothing’s special. The color is a beige and almost transparent, however, when you blend it out, it will become transparent.

It creates such a nice, smooth, soft and even base for my bb creams/cc creams /foundation. It feels really light and natural on the skin. I like it, but, one thing. It claims to control oils, and oh my gosh! This primer works amazing on the oil control part, like I’m not even joking with you. I’m not, really. Usually my The Face Shop CC Cream and Tony Moly CC Cream get extremely oily on me, but when I wear this primer underneath the other day, my face was oil-free all day, like it’s seriously amazing!
This primer was not my first primer ( just my first primer review ) and I can tell that it does its job so well! It sure does create such a nice finish, and it feels nice, It also has really nice oil control. Honestly, I’ve read mixed review about this product, but I didnt have any problem with it so far.
– nice sturdy packaging
– smells normal
– milky essence texture
– easy to spread out
– create a nice base for bb/cc creams or foundation
– last long
– good oil control
– nothing 😀
